Similar to the artist's books that will come later, this is a collection of small black and white photo journals of the artist's travels in India. Each book is made with a specific person in mind, either one she had made the journey to be with or one that was on her mind on her travels. Singh makes two copies of the diary; one for her friend and one that remains with her as part of her "kitchen museum". This work contains 7 of those diaries: Allahabad; Bombay; Calcutta; Devigarh; Padmanabhapuram; Varanasi; Nony Singh. The text running around outside of box reads: Sent a letter / to my friend / on the way he dropped it. Someone came and picked it up and / put it in his pocket. The Nony Singh journals is an albumn of photographs taken by the artist's mother, Nony Singh.

The original object was photographed with a NIKON D300 digital camera at 300 ppi as a JPEG file format. The JPEG file was then modified in Adobe Photoshop.
