Description

35mm color slide of two plates (Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory). These are “from a service made for Charlotte Louise” as indicated by the crowned “CL” monogram in the center of the well (Fritzsche 2018). On the rim are painted reserves with floral bouquets, wreaths, and putti in clouds. The number 48 is handwritten on the slide.
