Bookplate for Austin Dobson, an English poet, essayist, and biographer. His 1885 collection of poetry was called "At the Sign of the Lyre." Dobson and the bookplate artist, Alfred Parsons, also collaborated on an illustrated book of verse named "The Quiet Life."
